Creating Web pages is not particularly difficult, with several thousand Rupees worth of hardware and software, a few days training and practice almost anyone can create Web pages, the thousands of personal home pages on the Web attest to that. However creating a professional Web site that reflects a corporate image is a much greater challenge.
At ACL, we combine the technical skills of HTML construction, Java, JavaScript, PHP and Perl CGI programming with design skills from desktop publishing and presentation skills from technical training to build and manage effective Web sites. Our graphic artists and HTML experts work with the latest development tools and a selection of Web browsers to ensure every site we produce is of the highest quality and compatibility.

- Hosting
Once your Web site has been built it needs to be stored on the Web. The server you choose should be reliable and have a permanent high bandwidth connection to the Internet. If your server goes off-line your site becomes unavailable and you lose customers, likewise a slow or low bandwidth connection will frustrate visitors and generate more bad publicity than good.
This step can be broadly broken down into TWO steps. First, Domain Registration and then the actual hosting.

- Allocate web space on our fast servers with multiple redundancies
- Set up associated services for the web site like Email, CGI, etc.
- We can also set up and maintain your very own web server.
- Site Promotion
Once the site is operational, the whole world is out there, but how do they find you? We need to tell the world to come and visit the place. With millions of Web sites in this virtual world, sites specializing in searching the Web have evolved. Registering your site with these search engines is essential. Every site we design is registered on at least 10 of the most popular search engines, including, Yahoo, Alta Vista, Lycos, Excite, Web Crawler and Infoseek.
We can take care of the following points -
- Submission to search engines and improving rankings
- Bulk and targeted emailing (NOTE: We do not subscribe to spam or UCE)
- Submission to various directory and starting point services
- Banner submissions
- Web announcements
- Newsgroups
- Reciprocal links, Web rings, etc.
- Suggest and devise other non-electronic form of promotions.
- Site Maintenance
Now that you have your web site on-the-air, so to speak, it does not mean you can sit back and relax. You need to periodically update your site, be it putting up new content or changing the look and organization of the site or fine-tuning the performance.
- Training
Optionally, you may want to train your in-house personnel. This may be needed if you have an interactive or a database driven website or some portions of your website needs to be updated on a day to day basis. Outsourcing this kind of minor work might become expensive or im-practical in the long run.
